City Facilities Management is proud to make significant investments in team member development. On January 26th, 2022, City congratulated 18 new graduates of the Leadership Development Program (LDP). Through this robust program, City strives to encourage strong leadership skills and endeavors.
Selected from a pool of over 150 leaders, the 18 graduates demonstrated outstanding individual contributions as well as an expressed interest in continued growth. Each leader came with an impressive background of education and work experience. They were not only selected as high potentials and granted exclusive entry to the LDP, but joined the program with intense dedication and took full advantage of the tools, resources, and learnings provided.
The program offerings, designed by our leadership development experts, aligned with our mission, values, and core leadership competencies, and leveraged peer learning, networking, and team experiences focused on increasing the leadership capacity of our diverse talent.
Through a 20-week program, participants explored personal strengths and opportunities through leadership style assessments, stretch project assignments, instructor-led sessions, 40+ workshop activities, and more. Participants strengthened their emotional intelligence and learned how to excel at engaging teams, building trust, and creating positive workplace relationships.
Our people, and their efforts and ideas, have been the key catalyst for City Facilities Management’s continued growth. Having a strong leadership brand continues to be a key differentiator for us. It not only positively impacts the overall organizational health, but aids in retaining our top talent. Our LDP has resulted in more effective team leaders who can better integrate work project needs and people priorities. LDP produces increased collaboration among operations, higher-performing teams, and pivotal leadership development opportunities throughout a team member’s career journey. We look forward to seeing our LDP graduates put their newly learned skills into place during 2022.
