This week, City Facilities Management (FL) LLC welcomed back our teams as they returned to the Jacksonville home office. As with a majority of medium and large-sized businesses, most home office team members transitioned to remote work due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the office has been occupied only by team members on an as-needed basis since March of 2020.
We returned at limited capacity with a hybrid working arrangement, specifically, with groups of team members assigned in-office work on certain days of the week on a rotating basis, to help ensure teams feel as safe and comfortable as possible during this next phase or “new normal”. Hand sanitizers, sanitizing wipes and face masks were made available throughout the office and safety protocols were put in place including social distanced desk assignments and temperature checks upon arrival.
City celebrated our home office teams’ much-anticipated return with festive balloons, welcome signage, cards and catered lunch. The energy around the office was palpable as our teams reconnected after so many months of working only virtually!
It was very emotional meeting everyone. I joined the City team last year and it has been a great experience. Meeting everyone in person for the first time has made that 10x better.Rebecca Bosa, Customer Service Representative
While City teams have shown they can deliver on our promise of service excellence both virtually and in-person, we are so happy to have our team members back in the office, truly as One Team Together. City extends its utmost gratitude for the flexibility, adaptability and Can-Do attitudes our team members have showcased over the last two challenging years.
