The Divercity Council is a cross-functional grouping of team members from varying partnerships and job titles across the US business.
The Council was created in response to a desire to strengthen company culture and efforts to advance diversity, equity and inclusion within the organization. Fifteen Divercity Council members representative of the diverse backgrounds across the City family were chosen after a voluntary application process and will serve a 1-year appointment with quarterly meetings.
Along with the fifteen members, LaShanda Miller, Director of People Practices for City Facilities Management (FL) LLC, was named Council Sponsor. “Promoting diversity and inclusiveness in the workplace is one of the cornerstones in our City Cares culture,” says LaShanda, “We value the diversity of voices and perspectives across our City team members.
